Glazed Ceramic Masks (with feeling!)

For this project, I explained that people through time have noticed that colors can convey meaning and emotion. Then they planned in their work to evoke those feelings. The students were 3rd grade and they had created a clay mask. Their challenge was to paint it in a way, with certain colors, to convey feeling.
